Mrs. Athitaya Chanthasirichot (born 1981) completed a Bachelor in Laws in 2002 at Thammasat University, Bangkok, one of the leading universities in Thailand. In the same year, she received her lawyer’s licence and commenced post graduate legal studies at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. In 2003, Mrs. Chanthasirichot earned a Master in Laws (LL.M.) specialising in Business Law, with cumulative top score.
After graduating, Mrs. Chanthasirichot worked for an international law firm focusing on corporate, investment, labour and real estate law. She joined Lorenz & Partners in 2005. She became a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong in 2010.
Mrs. Chanthasirichot advises primarily European clients in Thailand on matters of foreign investment in Thailand. She has special expertise in corporate and investment law, labour law, customs, and real estate law. Since 2008, Mrs. Chanthasirichot is the head of our Corporate Department.
Christian Both (born 1974 in Duesseldorf) studied law in Tuebingen, Lausanne and Heidelberg. His legal training (2001-2003) included positions at civil courts, a German law firm and notary public, the German Embassy in Stockholm and the German-French Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
Following qualification, until 2006, Mr. Both worked in the headquarters of chemical giant BASF in Ludwigshafen. From 2006 until 2017, he worked for the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, initially being based in Munich, since 2009 in Riyadh and Dubai. In 2009, he was also seconded to the headquarters of SABIC in a role as Senior Inhouse Counsel for one year. In 2015, he was appointed as a Counsel of Freshfields.
Mr. Both specialises in international corporate and commercial law and has advised a wide range of international clients from various sectors on international corporate, M&A and JV projects.
Mr. Both joined Lorenz & Partners as Senior Consultant in September 2017.
Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle
Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle (born 1981 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany) studied law in Leipzig, Germany (Leipzig University); Budapest, Hungary (Eötvös Loránd University) and Hamilton, New Zealand (University of Waikato), from where he obtained an LL.M. After completing his Law Doctorate (Doctor iuris) at Leipzig University, he joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Berlin (Germany) as a research assistant. During this time, he completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Potsdam (Germany) with internships at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in Berlin (Germany) and the German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EKONID) in Jakarta (Indonesia).
Dr. Frank-Fahle was admitted to the bar in July 2012. Before joining Lorenz & Partners, he worked for a German law firm (HFK Rechtsanwälte LLP) in Munich (Germany) specialized in (plant) construction, procurement and real estate law. During this time, Dr. Frank-Fahle focused mainly on advising on plant and infrastructure projects in the Middle East. He joined Lorenz & Partners as a Senior Consultant in mid-2015.
Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong
Stefan Schmierer (born 1977) completed a vocational training with a German bank prior to obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Regensburg, Germany. Mr. Schmierer was admitted as German Attorney-at-Law in March 2009 and started his career as a lawyer with an international law firm, working in their offices located in Nuremberg and Stuttgart, Germany as well as in Beijing, China.
He obtained his LL.M. from the University of Indianapolis, USA, before joining Lorenz & Partners’ Hong Kong office in 2009. Mr. Schmierer became a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong in 2010. He was further admitted in Hong Kong as a local solicitor in April 2017.
Mr. Schmierer predominantly advises German-speaking clients on matters concerning foreign investment in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He has special expertise in German, Hong Kong and international commercial, tax and contract law.
Mr. Nikolaos Bletsas completed a Bachelor of Laws at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).
He is Lawyer at Nikolaos Bletsas Law Office since 1996. With more than 20 years of professional working experience, he joined Grünkorn & Partner as International Lawyer in December 2016.
Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu completed her Bachelor of Laws at Viet Nam National University – HCM University of Economics and Law in 2009 and has been qualified to practice as a lawyer since 2014.
She has been working with Michael Lorenz & Associates since 2012 and continues to work with Grünkorn & Partner as Senior Associated Lawyer after the merger of these companies, having now more than 7 years of professional working experience. She is leading the Legal Team.

Naowarat Karst, CPA
Head of Tax and Accounting
Mrs. Naowarat Karst (born 1977) studied Business Administration, majoring in Accounting at Assumption University of Thailand (ABAC), Bangkok. After graduating in 1999, she worked for Deloitte as Senior Audit Supervisor for five years. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Thailand since 2003.
In 2003, Mrs. Karst transferred to the industrial sector as Financial Manager of the Thai subsidiary of H.J. Heinz Company. Since June 2004 she has been Chief Accountant and Head of Tax Department of Lorenz & Partners Bangkok.
